When a plane passenger thought his stewardess gave him a sandwich containing pork, he went completely ballistic. He called her a number of profane names, including a “f*cking sl*t,” and it was all caught on camera.
A taxi driver from Hampstead Heath, north London, was flying from Luton Airport to Skopje, Macedonia, on Sunday morning when he ordered a sandwich and a bottle of water. But, mid-way through eating the baguette, he said it “didn’t taste like turkey” and flew into a rage when he saw the packaging labeled with the word ham.
The Muslim man called over a Wizz Air stewardess and demanded a refund after becoming convinced the product contained pork, explaining that he could not eat it due to his religion. He then turned to a fellow passenger and described the staff member as a “f*cking sl*t” and a “b*tch.”
At one point in the video footage of the incident, the Muslims man can be heard saying, “I work in restaurants, I know what’s ham. Ham is pork. It’s not tasting like turkey, it’s tasting like ham. This is not right, you should tell people there is pork. I’m a Muslim. It’s pork, darling.”
According to Daily Mail, moments later, and apparently speaking to the person next to him, he then says, “What the f*ck is your problem stupid f*cking b*tch, she’s a f*cking b*tch man. She told me it’s not appropriate to touch my teeth, f*cking sl*t.”
In another part of the footage, he tells the staff, “You have given me ham, and you’re talking to me rude. I just tell you it’s ham, you tell me it’s not pork. It’s not nice, darling, you’re supposed to be nice to the customers. Take the water, too. I don’t want the water either. You are being very, very rude.”
The Muslim man appeared to have incorrectly believed that turkey ham was a pork product, in which case it would have made it a violation of his Muslim beliefs. But, even when a senior steward appeared and tried to calm the situation by explaining that “turkey ham” was simply a term used to describe the processed turkey meat, the irate passenger continued his outburst.
The cabin crew eventually refunded the man for the sandwich and the bottle of the water, which he kept. The bizarre scene was captured by a passenger sitting in the aisle seat to the man’s left, who described the incident as “quite surreal,” according to Geller Report.
“He was getting increasingly angry. I was a bit concerned when his voice was raised and he was swearing,” said the passenger who recorded the video. “He was sure that this roll contained pork. He said he couldn’t eat pork because of his religion. I suspect it was just a bad-tasting processed sandwich rather than a ham sandwich with pork inside. Nobody could convince him otherwise.”
After the incident, the Muslims man made an ominous statement, saying, “I’m an Uber driver in London, I eat at the shops all the time. I know the taste of turkey, and the roll didn’t taste like turkey. She should have respected me and my religion. The customer is always right. She’s lucky. If this wasn’t here with people around I would have been more angry.”
One is led to wonder what the Muslim passenger meant by the latter part of his statement. What, exactly, would he have done if there weren’t “people around”? Would he have beat the innocent stewardess whose only “crime” was selling him a sandwich? Would he have doused her with acid? Would he have raped her? Any of these horrifying responses would have been permitted by Islamic Sharia law, which is a very scary thought. Thank God, there were people around to keep this psycho from going full-Sharia on the poor stewardess.
